Countdown to 8/12/09 ♥

Ending Trinity, ending my first year in Melbourne.
End of my stay in Palmerston house 7.
Saying goodbyes to all my friends. Hoping to see them again
next year, and some 2 years later.

That aside, I finished my exams on a high note,
feeling really confident for Biology.
But the feeling of the joyous freedom wasn't there.
Went to Mei Yin's birthday party at St. Kilda.
Wasn't exactly what you would call a bash, but decent fun.
Dinner at DiMattinas with the usual House3/7 group, w/o Phaik,
who is currently mugging for her M&C exam tomorrow.

I'm now staring at my room wondering how I'm going to pack
all this shit soon, and also thinking what time my laundry --
OH SHIT. I'll take them out after this post.

Exams and goodbyes. ♥

WELL UH. TOPIC SAYS BASICALLY EVERYTHING.
Having exams right now. One more paper left - Biology.
I should be studying now, but meh, can't find the motivation to..
5 papers down - EAP, LIT, HOI, Chem, Maths.
Am seriously not confident on the last 2, but the first 3 was okay.
Going back to Singapore soon! Joy.
I miss my room, my LCD, my PS3, my AIRCON and ultimately
MY SEXY MIO BOX WITH UNLIMITED INTERNET. WOOTS?
Anyway, I really don't know what to feel about going back
to Singapore. On one hand I'm really happy to meet up with my
family and friends back in SG, but on the other hand there's
this lingering feeling within me that just wants to keep
whatever I'm having now in Trinity - my friends and housemates.
I'll be staying in College Square next year, but the feeling
won't be different where I could just run to Lennon's or Shaegan's
or Michelle's and Phaik's room to just talk and discuss about
stuff and laugh like there's no tomorrow.
The few things I'll miss that I enjoy in Palmerston :
1) Late night talks
2) Communal Indomee (invented by me and Phaik)
3) Laughing randomly in the kitchen with Lennon, Nick, Shaegan and Leong.
4) Late night studying with housemates.
And I don't even want to begin blogging about how Lennon is going back
to Singapore to serve his NS for 2 years.
2. Fucking. Years.
That means 2 years worth of no fun and laughter without him.
Well it's not as if it's never going to happen again.
I mean we can always just visit each other even though we're staying
in different places, but the feeling will be so different.
The feeling where I can just open my door, go through the toilet
to just talk to someone.
The feeling where I go down to the kitchen and there's someone there.
The feeling where I walk a few steps and find another house of friends.
It'll all be different.
I keep telling myself, this is life. You can't have everything
your way, but you can try to relive it again.
As I quote from a teacher in my secondary school,
"All good things must come to an end."
And it just struck me so hard.

Phaik Yie and Faith brought me to shopping at
Brunswick St. (again) and I bought this really gothic
looking pants for $168, and another short one for $125.
I LOOOOOVVVEEE THEEEEMMMM (the pants ;p)
Today was raining one whole day, and it consequently
made my mood bleak and emo-y. D8
So bad I emo-d at Nic. Sorry Nic. ):
Although vanilla slice upped my mood by a little bit,
being soaked in the rain for almost a day just
makes everything worse.

I went with Phaik Yie and Faith to this place on Brunswick St.
THIS SMEXY SHOP WHICH GAVE ME A $2 BEANIE. I LOVE YOU.
I bought a $5 tie, as well as a $5 doggie speakers (which are cute,
but lost in quality to Phaik Yie's $2 speakers from the Pasar Malam.
Ffffuuuuuuuuuuu.)
Am looking forward to more shopping sprees.
But I'm so damn tired now.

Teh Literature Essay. ♥

Yes, it's one of these abominable essays that can
actually be done quickly if you actually listen in class and
has the drive to actually do a fucking essay.
I don't. To both.
Until the night before the weekend of the essay due date.
"What the f--"
Yes I'm a very last minute person, although I do not claim this
credit myself, rather I credit people like Faith, who made me and
Phaik Yie have a heart attack looking at her still doing the
essay a few hours before the essay is due, and doing it at a very calm pace.
Adam and Willie, who did theirs just the night before, same like Faith,
but probably much less notes and a lot of Red Bull cans.
These people win. Totally.
I managed to finish mine in 5 fucking hours (not to be bragging but HAHAHA)
with the notes I collected in class. Well.
But hell, it's over. I want my holidays.
MAX BRENNERS HAVE ORGASMIC HOT FUDGE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE
AS WELL AS CHOCOLATE CRUMBLE PIZZA,
MUST FUCKING TRY.
On a side note, some fucker stole my USB disk when Faith left it
at Leeper Library. That or I bimbotically left it somewhere.
If you manage to see a black Cruzer thumbdrive, and you see the stuff
inside are very nicely categorized, it's probably mine.
